Gretchen is currently a design leader at the brand strategy consultancy Prophet in NYC. Before that she was the Group Creative Director of Design at the marketing company Known, focusing on media & entertainment clients. Prior to this role, she co-founded the creative freelance network Nights & Weekends and oversaw talent curation and creative. She also helped Peabody & Emmy award winning marketer Ross Martin launch his brand strategy & business innovation firm Blackbird. Gretchen started her career as a graphic designer in advertising at GREY.
Gretchen is a former collegiate field hockey athlete and junior olympics competitor in fencing. Her first business venture was creating bespoke duct tape wallets in high school. Outside of work she enjoys abstract painting and hand-harvesting sea salt.
