Blackbird launched as a marketing & business innovation agency that uses consumer intelligence, strategy, and creativity to solve problems, create opportunities, and propel growth for industry leaders and the challengers out to disrupt them. Blackbird was founded by Ross Martin, the Emmy & Peabody award-winning former head of Marketing & Engagement for Viacom. At the beginning of 2020 (2.5 years after launch), Blackbird joined data science firm Schireson and creative agency Stun to form a new modern marketing company, Known.
