To launch CNN+, the new streaming service by CNN, the first step was to create a brand identity that maintained CNN’s legacy of integrity while signaling the dawn of a new era. The visual identity system nods to the master brand while presenting in a more friendly, poppy, casual way to signal the content coming to the streaming platform. To create launch buzz, we created multiple teaser spots including an "Evolution" taking viewers through CNN across the decades, ending on a hint of what’s to come on CNN+. Utilizing eye catching kinetic type, we've been releasing glimpses of the new and buzz worthy content across Linear, Digital, and Social highlighting all the noteworthy talent and shows coming to CNN+ in spring 2022.
