To launch CNN+, the new streaming service by CNN, the first step was to create a visual identity that maintained CNN’s legacy of integrity while signaling the dawn of a new era. The system nods to the master brand while presenting a more friendly, poppy, casual version. As part of the launch campaign we created multiple teaser spots including "Evolution," taking viewers through CNN across the decades, ending on a hint of what’s to come. Utilizing eye catching kinetic type animations, we drew interest across linear/digital/social & even Times Square to highlight the talent and shows coming to CNN+.
